One of my favorite books that I use to read is The Hacker Ethic by Pekka Himanen. (Excerpt by the NYTimes)
This book changed my life quite a great deal. It became the ethos in which I live and if I had actually found this book earlier that I did, I probably might have taken a totally different course in my life or career.
